Assistant GC (conflicts) Fixed Term Contract -US FIRM

A US firm is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join their London office on a Fixed Term Contract (circa 8 months+).

The successful candidate will help lawyers and the compliance and new business (CNB) intake team with complex conflicts clearances on new matters. This includes acting as an escalation point for the more difficult clearances and advising on ethical, reputational and regulatory issues. This role will also involve working closely with and training the CNB team and assisting in the development
of the new matter intake system. Applicants should therefore have at least 2 years of conflicts experience at a leading law firm and be a qualified lawyer.

The firm offers an attractive remuneration package (£85,000-100,000) at a firm with one of the most respective compliance functions in the country.
