The Role
Joining a respected global Risk function, working closely with risk teams in UK/US, you’ll advise on a wide spectrum of commercial, legal, and strategic matters. You’ll draft and negotiate high-value client contracts, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks, and collaborate with lawyers, partners, and professional business teams across multiple jurisdictions. 

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex client-facing and commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with internal policies and professional standards.
• Advise partners on contractual terms, business requirements, and risk-related issues, balancing commercial needs with compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks, and support client audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
• Develop and enhance templates, playbooks, and scalable processes for efficient contract management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Business Development, DEI, and Information Security, and supervise administrative support within the Risk function.

Who This Would Suit
This role is ideal for an England & Wales qualified solicitor, 4 years + relevant post-qualification experience, gained either in a top-tier law firm advising clients or within an internal legal or risk function. A strong background in contract drafting and negotiation is essential, along with excellent communication, judgement, and project management skills.
