Senior Business Acceptance Analyst - Silver Circle Firm

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the firm's risks associated with new clients and mandates. This includes conducting conflict checks, customer due diligence, risk assessments, and providing essential advice on legal and reputational risks to ensure compliance and uphold the firm's esteemed reputation. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Acceptance, who also serves as the Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO), this role is critical in supporting the firm's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct and resolve conflicts and confidentiality issues during client intake processes.

• Perform detailed client due diligence to assess AML/CTF and sanctions risks.

• Identify and analyse risks associated with politically exposed persons (PEPs) and other regulatory concerns.

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts and junior analysts, fostering their development and ensuring high standards of compliance and risk management are maintained.

• Collaborate on projects aimed at improving systems, policies, and procedures within the Business Acceptance team.

Key Requirements Include:

• Minimum three years of experience in a compliance function within a law firm.

• Strong understanding of SRA’s Codes of Conduct, AML regulations, and sanctions regimes.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with partners and other stakeholders, providing solution-focused advice under commercial pressures.
