Are you a solution-orientated analyst with a knack for navigating complex legal conflicts? We are working on behalf of a premier US law firm, ranked highly by Chambers and The Legal 500, in search of a mid-level conflicts analyst to become an integral part of the compliance legal team. Based in London, this is a newly created role in an expanding team presenting a unique opportunity to the successful candidate to make a strong impact within the department and beyond.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct in-depth conflict-of-interest research and communicate findings to clear conflicts.

  • Assist the compliance team with the analysis and resolution of potential conflicts issues

  • Advise lawyers/solicitors on conflicts rules.

  • Assist in clearing conflicts for lateral lawyer and staff candidates.

  • Utilise corporate databases for researching corporate ownership structures.

  • Analyse conflicts search results and assist in resolving potential issues.

  • Develop expertise on conflicts rules across New York/US and the UK.

  • Draft engagement and waiver letters, contributing to the firm’s adherence to compliance standards.

Key Requirements Include:

  • At least 3 years of conflicts experience as an analyst at a leading international/city firm.

  • Additional experience in anti-money laundering/KYC rules highly desired.

  • An aptitude for learning new systems and proficient in internet research.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of handling complex situations with discretion and diplomacy.
