An elite global law firm is seeking a Legal Tech & Innovation Manager to play a key role in shaping how technology and artificial intelligence are embedded across legal service delivery. As Manager, you will act as a strategic driver within the firm’s Innovation & AI function. Partnering with lawyers and business services teams, you will evaluate, implement and accelerate legal technology and AI solutions, with a focus on improving workflows, client delivery and operational efficiency across practice groups and offices.

Key responsibilities

  • Advise lawyers, legal staff and clients on the effective use of legal technology and AI
  • Lead the selection, implementation and adoption of new technology, particularly AI-enabled tools
  • Own the delivery of client-facing innovation programmes
  • Collaborate with technical teams, procurement and vendors to test and deploy solutions
  • Analyse usage data to recommend enhancements and improvements
  • Manage a pipeline of innovation and technology opportunities
  • Support change management across global, cross-functional teams

This role will suit an experienced legal innovation or legal technology professional with a strong understanding of legal workflows and hands-on experience implementing legal tech solutions. You will bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to bridge legal and technical teams, and the confidence to lead projects in a cross-functional, global environment At least five years’ relevant experience is expected, alongside strong hands-on knowledge of leading legal technology and AI tools, including document review, contract automation and transaction management platforms, a solid understanding of law firm workflows, and confidence using core applications such as Microsoft Office, with data analytics tools an advantage.
