As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will be a knowledge leader for the firm’s Data Protection team, ensuring that both lawyers and clients stay ahead of legal developments in UK and European Data Protection law. Your work will involve maintaining and enhancing legal know-how, developing training materials, drafting client-facing content, and working closely with fee earners and business development teams to deliver top-tier legal support.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse legal and regulatory changes in Data Protection and digital regulation.

• Maintain and develop knowledge resources, including precedents and best practices.

• Support client training and seminars, creating engaging and informative materials.

• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on client bulletins, publications, and thought leadership content.

• Assist fee earners with technical legal queries and ensure knowledge is shared effectively across the team.

• Work on the development of technology-driven solutions to improve knowledge management and efficiency.

Who Would This Role Suit?

This role is ideal for a Senior Associate-level lawyer, (6 years + PQE) with extensive UK and European Data Protection law experience who is looking to transition into a knowledge-led position. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Protection law, gained at a leading law firm or in-house, along with excellent legal drafting skills and the ability to simplify complex issues.
