An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk Specialist to join a leading international law firm on a 12-month FTC. Sitting within a global Risk function, this role supports the firm in navigating a wide range of regulatory and compliance obligations. You will be responsible for advising on client onboarding, conflicts, and broader risk issues, ensuring that all processes align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

The position requires strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Alongside day-to-day advisory work, you will also contribute to the development of policies, training, and firmwide initiatives as new risks and regulations emerge.

About You

This role would suit an experienced risk and compliance professional (5 years +) with a background in an international law firm environment. You will have a strong understanding of conflicts, AML, and client due diligence processes, alongside broader regulatory frameworks.

You are confident working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to provide clear, commercially aware advice to a wide range of stakeholders. Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and familiarity with conflicts systems would be advantageous.
