Are you a talented conflicts analyst seeking an exciting opportunity within a top-tier international law firm? Our client, a prestigious law firm, is looking for a skilled conflicts analyst to join their dynamic compliance team. This unique role will require you to work closely with compliance teams in both New York and London, contributing to a supportive and highly regarded global conflicts and compliance team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Conduct conflict checks for new matters, pitches, and corporate affiliate research requests.

- Analyse and interpret complex search results for conflict analysis and reporting.

- Communicate promptly with solicitors to gather necessary information.

- Perform quality control checks on conflict-of-interest reports.

- Conduct detailed corporate business structure research to ensure comprehensive conflict searches.

- Assist in evaluating relationships between entities and individuals for conflict resolution.

- Implement and maintain ethical walls using Intapp Walls.

- Adhere to sanctions procedures and perform relevant database checks.

- Provide on-call coverage as assigned.

- Manage lateral conflicts procedures and maintain related documentation.

- Handle securities trading process requests according to firm guidelines.

- Support special projects as assigned by management.

 

Experience:

 

- Relevant experience in compliance, legal conflicts management, or risk team, at a major law firm.

- Proven ability to work with various levels of personnel to deliver agreed outcomes.

- Familiarity with conflicts platforms such as 3E Conflicts, InTapp Open, iManage Conflicts Manager, Pitchbook, Dun & Bradstreet, Worldcheck, Capital IQ, Orbis, and Accuity.

- Knowledge of SRA Rules, US conflict rules, and anti-money laundering legislation.
