Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you’ll play a key part in managing legal risk and global compliance, helping to develop firm-wide policies and advising on strategic governance decisions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across legal and business services teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on global structure, corporate governance, and office openings/closures
• Lead regulatory compliance initiatives and implement firm-wide policies
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks across operations and contracts
• Support compliance with sanctions, ESG, Modern Slavery, and sustainability reporting
• Develop and deliver training to promote a strong compliance culture

Who Would This Suit?

A qualified transactional lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a General Counsel or risk function, ideally within a major international law firm.

You’ll bring strong expertise in governance and compliance, a keen interest in corporate governance, and the ability to quickly navigate complex issues, offering clear, commercially sound advice, along with excellent drafting, project management, and cross-border collaboration skills.
